I am a consultant from San Antonio but need a temporary place in Austin because my big sister just entered in-home hospice and she lives off South Lamar. San Antonio is just too far away to go back and forth as often as I need to. I have a family so I will be primarily living with my husband and young kids back home in San Antonio but I am self-employed and can work from anywhere and will need to be in Austin a lot to care for my sister. I want to rent a place so I can be closeby without imposing on her privacy or being annoying to her because her apt. is small and has one bed. Also, we have out of town family like our dad from Ft. Worth and stepmom who could use this as well.because sleeping on my sister’s couch just doesn’t work for a couple. I might bring my babies (3 and 5) on the weekend and my husband. Our godsister from Dallas would we coming occasionally with her little boy and she owns a real estate staging company and has all we need to make some place comfortable with furniture to accommodate us for a night here and there..Looking for someone who would be cool with this arrangement of in and out of a 42 year old woman and her old dad/stepmother, single mom godsister on occasion or other extended fsmily. vs a real roommate your own age who actually lives there rather than crashes there when need be. I could pay in advance if need be and have insurance to cover everything also- I can offer background checks for everyone too- we are cool people.. I will be the one who pays for everything. We are fortunately not limited budget-wise but I also want to not be wasteful when all we need is a room and I will be paying for my sister’s rent/bills because she is getting too sick to work. I just need a room with bills included to allow family to be there for my sister during this awful time. If you can help, please let me know.
