Just surveying to possibly return to my hometown if it’s God’s direction. I’ve had lots of shared/unshared living experiences from sharing a bunk bed to living in my own room or home. I’ve even lived in a dramatic mixed group home that have had police involved so I know how vast the undertaking can be. Some don’t care about cleanliness, however I do. I believe in clean home = happy home

I do have a young Pincher. My puppy is cat friendly, pad trained, and goes out for regular “potty time” twice a day. I prefer more walks but some dogs in my current neighborhood roam freely. She enjoys playing and will bark at anything she sees or hears out the window. Although she is short haired, she does experience shedding occasionally so I try to keep her coat maintained. She does sleep in my bed with me.

As far as myself, I am respectable of boundaries. I treat my room as an office unless there’s a quiet or social time in the public space that I feel led to hang out in. I don’t go out much unless it’s for church or if I’m invited somewhere. The beach is beautiful but I don’t swim much or spend time out there. My health isn’t the best because I have narcolepsy which affects my sleep schedule. I may end up having a part time position outside and also doing work from online. There are some home opportunities I’ve had to wait on due to limited access to qualifications such as “hard line” internet. In the meantime, I enjoy blogging, podcasting, and recording music. I also mostly enjoy reading books such as the Bible, practicing musical instruments, electronic engineering, board games/video games, and watching educational videos. I don’t normally watch shows or movies but am open to the idea. I like to enjoy the quiet mostly unless I am listening to music or singing occasionally with the activities I do (even in the kitchen).

With that said, I can prepare my own meals and in today’s economy, I do like to take advantage of the opportunities available with food banks.

Strong communication is important for me to get the awkward icebreakers out of the way. We could chat with coffee or a meal or even just shoot the breeze between passing. Whether that be discussing daily tasks that might need to be done ie cleaning or just sharing ideas. My favorite topics are about the Bible and history/current events/news. I don’t mind being a counselor as well if you’re needing to share about personal issues.

I don’t smoke and if you do, please keep it outside out the house. I have lived with tobacco smoke fuming through the vent or door and it is horrendous and disrespectful. I don’t drink alcohol either and and don’t tolerate it period. Occasional wine might be okay but I prefer to not be around utter drunkenness (or highness).
