Hey, I’m Bri! I’ve been doing another room rental for the past few years, but since the house is being sold, I’m looking for a new place. I’m a night owl but fairly quiet, don’t drink, don’t smoke, keep to myself mostly, deep sleeper and happy to abide by quiet hours even if I’m still awake past the set time. I have a mischief of fancy rats (they’re ESAs, trained to come when called and stay within their designated area during out-of-cage time, and are very friendly and germ-free!), and generally take pride in maintaining good relationships with my roommate(s). I put in lots of emotional labor to make sure that people feel comfortable in coming to me when there’s things to discuss – asking for feedback regularly, treating concerns thoughtfully, and finding workarounds and coping strategies for my ADHD that allow me to live without, you know, being an inconvenience. (Usually stuff like, for instance, keeping a loud alarm clock in the laundry room so I’m forced to drop whatever else I’m doing and go get my dang clothes out of the washer before I forget they exist!!) I currently work full-time in retail as my day job, plus a few hours on the side doing private tutoring or online relationship counseling while I build up a client base. I’m happy to answer any questions you have for me and will always use principles of Most Generous Interpretation in interpersonal interactions. I like to cook; I’m not super great, but I can follow a recipe, so if you ever want to collab on dinners together and take help out with the dishes, I’d love that!!
