Gay guy age 36 seeking a gay-friendly person with a room to rent starting in October in Mobile or the eastern shore in Baldwin County. Looking to move in as soon as possible. Bookish and boring, I make my income through antiques and manage an internet vintage shop. Spent the last decade as a live-in carer for my grandparents, and with my grandmother’s death recently I find myself suddenly in need of a new place to live. Have absolutely no race or gender preferences, nor any required age (although I greatly enjoyed living with my grandparents, who were in their 70s), but was gaybashed a couple years back and feel gunshy about living with just anyone without knowing upfront that they are LGBT-cool. Open to possible live-in carework for an older or disabled person. Nonreligious personally, but have no issues with any person’s faith. Straightforward. I’m quiet, private and consider myself easy to know. I have a small dog that was my grandmother’s, fully house/yard/pad trained, who sleeps 23 hours a day. Would love to help with the dishes, laundry and any other task that might help to lighten a roommate’s load. Do not care about drinking or smoking – I do neither but it doesn’t bother if someone else does. Have my own car, and a healthy budget. My wants are few: room with a door.
