I am a 28 year old Muslim revert from Northern California. I have spent the last year in England and just returned to America. My husband is Pakistani (he still resides in Pakistan) and have very close family like friends from Bangladesh so I am also educated on South Asian culture and absolutely love this culture. I do not smoke however I don’t mind living with someone who does. I do not have any pets but I don’t mind a cat if you have one. I would love to have a Muslim roommate, however I can get along with anyone. I’m a very quiet and kept to myself person. I clean up after myself and I always include the entire household when preparing meals. I’m a caregiver and have been for several years. I also am a registered substance abuse counselor, however I am not currently working in this field. My ultimate goal is to shift from California to Hamtramck so I can enjoy the beautiful community and be surrounded by other Muslims which California lacks. I hope to move my husband to the United States eventually and feel Hamtramck would be a safe place for us to settle. For now I am alone and hope to find a wonderful roommate that I may be compatible with.
