Description

Rent negotiable. I’m quiet most of the time, like the most quiet person you’ll probably ever meet. I am an introvert, with extrovert tendencies. I can go days without talking to others, it isn’t personal, it’s simply who I am. I do also love music and play all types of music in the shower and sometimes have private dance parties where I sing and dance. I do have a sewing machine and I’ll do my best to keep the noise impact on my roommate to a minimum. I’m not looking for a best friend, I already have one, but if a natural friendship occurs that’s fine. I just don’t like feeling forced into friendships. I’m comfortable with just being roommates as long as we respect one another. I’m courteous, I keep shared spaces clean, I don’t touch others belongings and I expect the same in return. My room might be a little messy, but it’s definitely not dirty. For example, I don’t always make my bed in my room and sometimes it takes a week to fold and put up my clean clothes, but I’d never leave a mess in a shared space. It’s important to have the same in a roommate. I am very particular and don’t like anyone touching my food or my things without my permission. The roommate I will mesh best with will keep shared spaces clean. I don’t really care what their private room looks like except that I would hope they didn’t keep it dirty/nasty to the point that it would cause bugs or worse to enter the space. They don’t need to be as quiet as I am, but I don’t get along with really obnoxiously loud individuals. I’m not a smoker and I can’t live with a smoker. I have zero tolerance for smoke of any kind. No cigarettes, no cigars, no Marijuana. I don’t partake in any recreational drugs of any kind and my roommate shouldn’t either. I’m a super occasional drinker, like my last drink was probably 2020. I don’t mind if others drink, but I would not appreciate an alcoholic, functional or otherwise. I can empathize with all types of mental health situations; however, I would feel uncomfortable living with someone that was unstable because of mental health reasons. I need to feel safe in the place I call home. Guests are ok within reason. I don’t have constant visitors and I would prefer the same from my roommate. I don’t think either roommate should ever feel uncomfortable in shared spaces because of guests in the home. Bottom line is I am a good roommate because I’m neat where it matters, I’m courteous, I’m respectful and I stay to myself for the most part.
