I am looking for an Unfurnished room to rent around Mesa or the surrounding areas by the end of September. My Budget is about $1000 monthly I have stable job working nights as security but don’t have a problem with moderate noise during the times I sleep, I do realize people exist and are usually up during the day. 😂I am a musician, and model on the side I often go live on tiktok to share my music and uplift my followers. I will be attending Mesa Community College for Fashion soon. I’m looking for something with longevity like 6 months to a year.
In my free time I’m either getting chores done, songwriting, sleeping or learning a new skill. I like to keep to myself but definitely want to be friendly with roommates. I don’t smoke (cigarettes or weed) and rarely drink but am not opposed to either of those things in moderation. I would like to be able to have friends over where I am living occasionally, especially once school starts because I may need to do group projects. I would make sure that everyone was respectful and that there was plenty of communication ahead of time. I am not dating anyone currently but I would like it to be an option eventually. I do my best to keep any mess I make confined to my room, Common areas would be kept clean but I am very busy and sometimes I have to leave things a bit messy for a few days before I can get to them. I have a tiny cat named Margaux. I do have a 7 year old and unfortunately he is not with me currently but I am fighting for full custody, we can go over that when we connect so that there is more context. I do have an eviction on my record from last year because I was assaulted in February and almost died twice as a result. My roommate never paid any rent during the time we lived there despite that being the agreement so I paid 10 months by myself, depleting my savings. When I asked for help to cover the last two months in March when I realized I wasn’t able to work due to immediate health issues( that have since been resolved), nothing was done and no money was saved and we were evicted. I have been living with a friend since but that friend is moving and I need to find a new place that will accept my situation and understand that I was not at fault but that I am still seeking a resolution for the eviction.
