Hi. I’m starting as a f/t instructor at VA Tech this semester, in sociology. Seeking (an)other full-time professional(s) or maybe grad students. I’m very quiet, clean (but not compulsively so), considerate, respectful–and hope you are as well. Looking for a roommate or a team-up, or to join an existing house. I’d like something close to campus (no farther than Christiansburg), ideally with a yard or deck or some kind of outdoor space. I don’t need to be close with roommates, but making friends in the area (I only know a couple ppl–from the Roanoke/Art Rat scene) would also be cool: I’m into left politics and music (especially experimental), running; I’d like to have a garden, etc. :) I have a small dog, 6lb chihuahua (“Stringer”–a Wire reference, yup. Also a huge Twin Peaks fan!). I spent 17 years in NYC (for grad school etc.) and loved every second. Raised in VA, so, full-circle…
