Looking for a room to rent for my son and I while we look for permanent housing in Oceanside (in 2023). He goes to school in Rancho Del Oro and I work remotely 4 days a week and go into the office 1 day a week.

We are allergic to cats, so we could not stay in a home with cat(s). We would mainly just be staying during school/work and sports nights. Figured renting a room is better than driving a 100 miles a day back and forth as a commute. We do have a 16-pound malti-too that is my son’s ESA dog that we would like to stay with us during the week, but it is not a requirement. We, also, have renter’s insurance.

We are hoping to find a small house to rent or buy in 2023 with a backyard so we can have our dogs with us. But for now, just looking for comfortable, private accommodations for the two of us.
