Hey all, I’m a college senior trying to finish off their last year of school online. I work full time and drive, as does my other roommate who works two jobs and isn’t home most of the day/week, and also keeps to herself. I try to be mindful and communicate about boundaries and any issues that come up before they escalate, so I would appreciate it if you would too. I’m also LGBT safe and fine with a single cat.

Right now, my roommate and I are looking for a third person to take the place of our roommate who is leaving for boot camp on August 15. We live in a 3 bedroom/1.5 bath, two story townhouse between Town Center and Lynnhaven Mall, and about a 10 minute drive towards either. The room comes with a bed, corner desk, and a dresser that hasn’t been yet assembled.

Ideally, we really want to stay here but we are open to the idea of finding somewhere cheaper if that’s an absolute necessity for you. Our current roommate is willing to help us break the lease.

An important detail: rent and expenses will rise a bit when my other roommate leaves the country for three months every year during the winter to be with her family.

A bit about me: I pretty much keep to myself whenever I’m home, and I wouldn’t really invite more than one friend over if any at all (and with courtesy of course!). I’m probably watching a movie or binging some show at any given time. I also enjoy digital art and making comics. I’m very much a night owl so we’ll probably run into each other at 2AM even outside of finals haha. Admittedly while my personal space might get a little chaotic, I’m super conscious about keeping shared spaces clean /especially/ the bathroom.

My roommate and I also both know how to cook. She’s pretty awesome with Brazilian food and I’m fairly confident in my pasta skills and lumpia. You’re also in luck if you’re a Chipotle lover, since I work there ha.
