I’m a 47-year-old single, educated, and matured (I hope!) man looking for a room to rent not too far from the Amazon Fulfillment Center on 68th Street — it’d be great if I could walk or bike to work! I’m ready to move very soon.

My lifestyle: • A way to sleep during the day, since I currently (but temporarily) work third shift. (My schedule is Thu, Fri, and Sat 6:30 PM-7:00 AM.) I use a sleep mask, a white noise machine, and earplugs, which goes most but not quite all of the way. • A way to cook and store meals for the week. My current recipes are Greek, including homemade chicken gyros. I need to use countertop space, an oven, and refrigerator space. • Air conditioning and heating. I need to feel comfortable to sleep well and I need that to work well. Amazon is physically demanding. • High-speed Internet access. I don’t game or watch a lot of video, but I do like reliable and fast Internet. • Washer and dryer. I need to do my laundry without a drive. • No smoking. I don’t smoke and I don’t think I’d want it second-hand. • A little space to practice yoga. I don’t need much space, but it’s important to me that I can do this every day.

My interests include spirituality and psychology, nature, relationships and parenting, productivity, world cinema, bicycle touring (I once rode my bike from Muskegon to Houston!), camping, and Lake Michigan. I’d like to try dating again, too, when I feel the time’s right.
