The majority of the novel you are about to scroll thru was written by me, Donovan. I will leave opportunities for my partner to jump in and write where and whatever he feels necessary.

This is such an exciting and big step for both of us and We want to have equal weight in the entire process and long after :)

We are both 21 and employed. I have consistently been employed in the service industry as well as property management. As of 06/09/22, I am awaiting my fast approaching first day as a valet for 3 major locations within the gates of Sandestin.

We are educated post-high school (AA & BA). Shaq and I met earlier this year when he arrived from his home, Jamaica. His original plan was to go back in late August. However, we have since become something that deserves a much bigger effort than simply accepting the upcoming expiration date on his entry visa and parting ways forever.

I will do everything in my power to help make his transition to becoming a more permanent resident, and hopefully citizen some day, as easy as possible.

We would need, at the very most, a queen size bed or bigger, enough space for two well dressed men with “healthy” wardrobes and ample shoes, plus a private bathroom and shower. A mini fridge will be coming with us but a room that could almost be self-sufficient (including microwave, sitting area, even a small electric/gas range & or oven) would really be at the top of out list!

If the price, terms, and overall situation offered are fantastic, one or more of these wishlist items can be removed or altered a bit lol.

I promise I’m not nearly as high maintenance as it seems 🤣 and my partner CERTAINLY is not. I like to be as open and detailed as possible right from the start so neither us, nor a potential housemate, start off with unnecessary lack of knowledge

Speaking as Donovan, I get along with pretty much any type of person regardless of religion, skin color, age, sexual orientation, political ideology, vaccine status etc etc. Treat me how you’d like to be treated… or not to be quite frank 🤣 … and I will be kind and genuine to you and treat you how I want to be treated.

Ive been told, in an authentic, unscripted way, more times than I can count that I am REALLY, really funny. I will find a way to make you laugh at least once an hour or so :)

I am a heavy sleeper. I won’t swing open my door all hot n bothered over some dishes clankin around. Don’t worry about disturbing me while sleeping if you’re doing anything within reason… I promise I wont care and likely won’t even notice.

I am also proud because I have yet to be told that I snore! So no disturbances from me because of snoring

On the other hand, I am somewhat of a loud person in most situations. I laugh passionately and enjoy it to say the least. I sneeze and cough loud (rarely do either, but still), and my voice can carry itself.

Im typically making some kind of noise while up and moving … assuming no one is asleep or requesting peace and quiet.

What I’m NOT though is someone who slams doors. You’ll never catch me slamming a door guaranteed. I can’t remember when I last broke anything. I just don’t break or drop anything that makes noise (besides my phone) tbh.

I am very respectful of the time others dedicate to rest and relaxation, so respecting someone who works and sleeps different hours is not a problem!

We are not heavy or frequent drinkers. My partner and I abstain from cigarettes entirely. I used to smoke and I now vape.

We abstain from mind-altering substances in general. On the other hand, I am not bothered or offended one bit by alcohol, tobacco, cannabis, or anything else you choose to do with your body for that matter. A mostly tobacco-smoke free house would be nice.

If you do smoke, I’m not going to chase you around with an ozium or febreze can while yelling that you’re gonna give us all cancer or something even if you sit outside and leave the door open. I’ve “been there, done that” with just about everything, so I am totally free of judgement towards others when it comes to the use of substances as long as the use does not cause unreasonable disturbances and stress

I’m just not bothered by anything very much aside from witnessing a toxic/abusive relationship of any kind (familial, platonic, or romantic)

I also will be bothered by unhygienic conditions. Thats defined by how many things I see per week that a roach would just love to go after and start a family in :) the goal Is less than 1 per week

We do not own any animals but a neutered/spayed cat or two certainly wouldn’t get a protest out of me! I love all animals.. but we would not want to share a home with one or more that are completely out of control, flea/bug/illness ridden, or just stank.

We would like to have all t’s crossed and i’s dotted by the end of august at the very latest. I will know my reliable take home $ will be at my new valet gig by the end of July, but I am not expecting anything below 25-30 per hour at 30 ish hours or more per week.
