I am a high school teacher who recently got a job at Coronado High School and I would make a good roommate. As a teacher, I practice friendliness and kindness. I am with students with varying degrees of interactions that they want to make and I have learned/ am learning to navigate these needs. Second, I have to keep a clean classroom so sharing a house will be similar. I have to keep things clean because people differ in the amount of disorder they can handle. With that said, I am nervous about giving the impression that I will clean everyone’s things. I hope that we can set procedures up in the beginning to help solve various issue such as common space rules and guests. I have experience doing this in my classes. The primary reason I am seeking roommates instead of being on my own is that I am moving to a new city and I don’t know anybody so I hope to meet with friendly people. Thank you for reading this post.
