Amie

Hello, my name is Amie. I am a recent graduate from Florida State University, I am moving to the area in order to start a job. I love to cook, spend time with my dog, and decorate the areas around me. In my free time, you can find me hiking or (obviously) cooking up a storm in the kitchen. I am a rather clean individual and would like to live with someone who is as well. However, the living space does not need to be tidy 24/7. I try to do my dishes within 24 hours and keep most of my stuff out of the common space.

Here are a few of my favorite things: The Rocky Horror Picture Show, How I Met Your Mother, Mt. Joy, hanging out with friends, discovering new places, and much more. As I previously mentioned, I do have a dog named Maple. She is the love of my life and my first priority - her well being is very important to me. She is about 65 pounds and is a black lab who is sweeter than sugar and honestly quite lazy. I enjoy knowing who I live with and would love to establish a relationship with my roommate. I do value my sleep a lot and try to go to bed around 11 pm and get up by 7:30. On the weekends, I usually try to sleep in, but Maple often has other plans for me.

I am a pretty social person but also value my alone time. I would love for my apartment to be a place where I can have people over, but not a place constantly full of others. I am open to the idea of my roommates hosting parties with enough warning beforehand.

Additionally, I am not a smoker and I would prefer to live with someone who does not smoke cigarettes. I am always open to trying a new drink during happy hour, so if you enjoy doing that we could be a great fit.
