We are a couple, I’m 55 and he’s 61. He’s retired, I’m semi-retired, looking to go back to teaching part-time after knee surgery & recovery. We lost our own pooch, a beautiful Pit, last year to cancer but we both love dogs. I have 2 grown kids (26 & 22), recently moved out of state, 1 to PA, 1 to NY. I’ve been a teacher most of my life & LOVE kids and find they love me too. He doesn’t have children of his own but has been a wonderful “step” to my own. We are relatively quiet, keep-to-ourselves people, but also both very friendly, respectful of others and can be social if we feel a connection. We are hoping to find a place that provides us with a peaceful place to roost and just enjoy life together. I love to cook & I quite enjoy the use of a nice kitchen, especially if I can cook for others. 😉 He is very interested in classic muscle cars and used to race and build, so he’s quite knowledgeable and handy with fixing things. We both love the great outdoors & would enjoy access to a patio. We look forward to meeting our new Roomie!
