Hello, my name is Carletta Hickman. I am the Landlord Liaison of the Columbia Housing Center. Please allow me to share our mission and approach with you.
Our mission is to “champion and sustain thriving, racially integrated communities throughout Columbia and surrounding Howard County”.

As a Landlord Liaison, my goal is to:

1. Connect Renters to Property Owners and Management companies, who are interested in and compelled by our mission to assist with the dream Columbia was built upon. A community that is

Ø Build relationships with property owners and managers to sustain diversity and integration within our local communities,

Ø Create positive solutions to help overcome challenges with the shortage of affordable homes and qualified renters

Ø Present to you; an array of tenants who will provide you with on-time rental payments

Ø Offer free Marketing and Campaigning of your properties to future qualified tenants looking to move into the Columbia, Howard County area.

I hope that you would join the Columbia Housing Center, as well as many other property owners, with whom we’ve worked to create positive connections, move past stereotypes and misunderstandings, creating a culture of harmony and thriving neighborhoods in the state of Maryland.
