Belle

Hi! I’m Belle, from Malaysia, and I hope to move to Vermont in August. My friends would describe me as organized, empathetic, and funny. In my free time, I like to illustrate, code, play volleyball, and read! I’ll likely leave early and stay out till dinnertime on weekdays. On the weekends, I enjoy going to a nice cafe to read/work on things or hang out with my friends!

I’m a currently taking a Gap Year to volunteer at a local nonprofit but I hope to pursue combined studies in computer science and public policy.

‍I’m a relatively social person, but I also need my alone time. I don’t plan on throwing any parties or inviting guests over but I don’t mind my roommates hosting small parties or having people around the house. I’d love for us to get to know each other and occasionally hangout!

I’m both an early riser and night owl (it really depends haha!) but am extremely quiet and will most likely just be on my laptop. I don’t drink and smoke and I don’t mind if my roommates drinks but I’d prefer that they don’t smoke. I am relatively tidy: will immediately do my dishes and always cleaning up after myself.

My monthly budget is $900 (flexible), and I’m looking to move in sometime during August or September. Ideally, the house would be close to a bus-line as I don’t have a car. I would like my own bedroom (don’t have much requirements here), and I’m open to living with 1-4 other people.

When I miss home, I might cook some Asian cuisines (which i hope will be ok?). If we might get along, please reach out! Thanks :))
