Hey Folks! My name is Sarah (She/Her). I am an educator and artist, and I have lived in West Philly for 7 years. I love Philly, but looking for a change within the city. Ideally, I want to live in an area with access to green space/tree-lined neighborhood feel for my mental health.

As a roommate, I am very clean and organized and value communication and setting boundaries/expectations for a safe, respectful community living situation. The home/living situation is really important to me. It is a place to come back to after a long day to rest, decompress and rejuvenate, especially for me being a teacher. Family, community, and creating or upholding traditions are also super important to me. I am not a party goer, but I enjoy scheduling time for community dinners or small gatherings with my chosen family/friends. I like connecting with my roommate, but I also appreciate having personal downtime.

I am covid conscious, and it is important that my future roomie(s) is on the same page when it comes to covid and being comfortable living with someone who identifies as queer. When I am not teaching or lesson planning you can find me in the kitchen. I absolutely love cooking and baking. It is one of my love languages, and I enjoy sharing baked goods and sometimes meals when possible. I also enjoy being home, making art, listening to music, reading, or streaming to unwind. During long breaks and especially during the summer, I also like going on nature adventures, running/walking, taking trips to see the ocean, finding ways to volunteer at dog shelters, and always down for legit pizza. I am kind, considerate, chill, and enjoy laughing and working with my roommate(s) to care for and create a clean, safe, and welcoming home/living situation.
