Izzy Kakala

My name is Izzy Kakala. I’m a 22 y.o. Male, a Harvard undergrad on a gap year, and working at Sutter Health in Duboce (CPMC Davies campus).

For work, I work with patients dealing with substance abuse disorder and connect them with resources for treatment and recovery. I work 10am - 6pm in person, Monday through Friday with an occasional weekend workday. I am studying for my MCAT exam and spending the rest of this year and part of the next applying to medical schools.

Outside of work and school, I love to explore the city, go out for drinks, concerts, enjoy nature, cook, and chill with friends. I love R&B, Pop, Rap, Reggae, and House music.

As a roommate, I’m very clean, communicative, and chill. I am very responsive and adaptive to suggestions/concerns, and very transparent with my roommates. I do like a tidy space, but I’m not a freak; as long as everything smells nice haha. Totally laid back and chill, so I can keep to myself if that’s the vibe. But I’d love to get to know the future roommates better and become friends!

Looking for at least 6 months stay and 9 months max. I’m currently on a gap year so I’ll be returning to Boston from Feb 2023 to May 2023 to finish my undergrad degree.
