Hello! My name is Adjo (Ahhh-jo). I moved to Philadelphia from Miami in September of last year. I work as a retail manager for a large footwear company where I have worked for 9 years. I am a quiet, considerate roommate who works around 50 hours a week. Because of the nature of retail work, that usually involves weekends and a workday that has me away from home between 8 am-9 pm. I moved to the city with my partner-we have since ended our relationship and I am exploring finding a roommate situation to keep my monthly expenses in line with what they have been in a 2 income household. We are in a lease that ends July 30th, but I am flexible on a move in date. I am very quiet and laid back, a non-smoker, very casual drinker, I don’t party and I am generally a person who spends my downtime listening to music, reading, watching movies or spending time away from home outdoors. I am in my late 30’s, but I am a young 30-something! That is to say I can easily get along with a younger roommate. Working in retail keeps you young! I do not do drugs of any kind, but am not opposed to living with someone who smokes cannabis in their home.
