Greetings! I’m an editor, copywriter, and poet who runs a small press dedicated to avant-garde poetry/fiction/theater. I’ve been a literary & film critic. I’ve lived in the mountain west for 30 years, on & off (back for over a decade now) & have stellar landlord and local references. No criminal record and no eviction history; will pass any background check.

I recently had the profound fortune to acquire a 1,675.00 housing voucher, so I can pay up to that amount, plus a bit of what I make as a freelancer. (The voucher comes with timely, guaranteed payments from the housing authority, not to mention full legal vetting of me as a potential tenant: a win-win:-).

I adore animals, and have two young cats, siblings, who are majestic, purring delights. So if you love felines, you’ll love them. I also love snow/cold weather/winter, and am very adept at living at altitude; I am not afraid of the elements, “roughing it,” etc. In fact, I thrive on it.

I am temporarily stuck in Boulder (the gentrified-thick city part, not the foothills), but can’t stand the urban dystopia it has largely become, and will do anything to return to nature/the wild. I am locked into a lease until next spring (2024), but I would love to get established with another situation now, well ahead of time; it certainly beats scrambling around at the last minute, especially in today’s very difficult housing market.

I’m Gen X/old(er), and my hard-partying days are long behind me, so that kind of disruption will never be an issue. I also love doing the dinner parties/animated conversations by the bonfire or fireplace thing; my late partner and I had dreams of starting an artists’ colony. However, I’m also 100 percent fine with staying in my own space. In other words, I’m essentially an introvert who can easily become an extrovert under optimum conditions, lol. I’m reliable, kind, reasonable, & trustworthy. Please reach out! If this post is still up, I’m still looking. :-)
