I’m a mature, quiet, no-drama, self-sufficient person with a full-time job in the veterinary field.

I need housing due to the breakup of a marriage. I would prefer an unfurnished room in a house with a yard, or to team up with 1-2 compatible people and rent a house together. Cecil County is my home, although I work just north of Oxford, PA.

I’m mostly at home only in the evenings and on weekends, since I have a full-time day job and normally walk/hike with my dog for at least an hour after work. When at home, I spend most of my time in my room reading, playing computer games, watching movies, or talking to my family.

My dog is middle aged, small (under 20 lbs), and well-trained (I compete in dog agility with him). He goes to work with me 2-3 days a week, and is accustomed to staying in my room if it’s a day he can’t go. He’s lived with other dogs, including large ones, most of his life, and gets along well with others provided they’re not aggressive or excessively rough. The cat is elderly & doesn’t need access to the house; he’s used to staying in my bedroom 100% of the time. I clean his litter box daily & trim his claws regularly so he doesn’t scratch things up. In other words, they won’t bother you.

I get along well with people of all ages and walks of life, and am open to sharing a home with/renting a room from folks of any age/gender/orientation; however I’m most comfortable with women (any orientation) and/or gay men.
However, I doubt it will work for me to share living space with someone who worships Donald Trump.

Open to sharing with other pet owners, any type of pet, as long as pets are well cared for & dog(s) non-aggressive. Last but not least, I’m accustomed to helping with both interior and exterior (mowing and so forth) home upkeep.
