Hi everyone! My dog and myself are on the hunt for a roommate! I have a bedroom/private bath that available ASAP through first week of July. The common areas are furnished and there is a space in the living/dining room that we could set up for a work from home area if that’s something you need/want! I’m only asking $1000 a month plus help with utilities/internet (~$100). Location! Location! Location! - The unit is part of Skyline at Barton Creek, located on Spyglass Drive. The Barton Creek Greenbelt trail head is just down the hill, where you can walk the trail ~1 mile to Barton Springs/Zilker area! (Or about a 3 minute drive. )The area of the complex itself is tucked away and there is lots of greenery. So close to everything but away from noisy streets and the business of S. Lamar, etc. About me: I am an elementary Special Education teacher during the day 7:30-4 in Westlake (only about a 8 min. drive) and then I work as a server a few nights a week/weekends over on S. Lamar. When I am at home I like to chill and relax by reading or watching tv or cooking. I also really enjoy music -listening, playing, creating. I’m very laid back and get along with just about everyone. I am very much a people person. So I would love to have someone as a roommate that would enjoy chatting with me or doing things together once in a while! I love to be outside- walking, running, hiking, swimming, biking, rollerblading, exploring. Love working out and staying active! But also can go for a day of complete rest and relaxation here and there. I have my big baby girl Abbi who is the same as me but in dog form. She is an extremely friendly, sweet and loving dog. (And I know everyone says that about their dog, but I mean it. Can get references to back that up! lol.) She loves to play but is also great and lounging on the couch all day.
