Hi! I’m Rachel — a 28-year-old young professional looking to move closer to Baltimore (preferably downtown, but open to areas within ~30 minutes of the city). Looking for an October move-in! 🎃👻😊

I work in management and genuinely enjoy working with people. I’m outgoing, communicative, and respectful of boundaries. I value a peaceful, friendly home environment where people can comfortably coexist and communicate openly.

I do have a cat named Bella 🐱 She’s litter box trained, very curious, and loves people (especially if you brush or feed her lol). She hates closed doors and definitely thinks she owns the place sometimes, so I’m ideally looking for someone who either loves animals or has pets themselves. My mom is actually a veterinarian + university professor in animal medicine, so I grew up around animals and take pet care seriously. Mostly importantly she is fixed and fully vaccinated!

• I enjoy volleyball, parks/walking trails, movies, occasional travel, and exploring the DMV area

• I’m very approachable and believe healthy communication matters in shared living situations

📝A quick note for transparency ✨I may also be adding a close friend to the lease for flexibility/business purposes. She currently lives in Delaware and primarily works there, but would occasionally need access to housing in Baltimore for her beauty business/clients. She would not be living in the apartment on a traditional day-to-day basis, but may occasionally utilize the space when working in the Baltimore area.

I would remain financially responsible for the lease overall if needed, and anyone seriously interested would absolutely have the opportunity to communicate with her as well so everyone feels comfortable and aligned beforehand 😊

I know this setup may not be for everyone — and that’s completely okay! I’m very prepared to live alone as well, so finding the right fit matters more to me than rushing to fill a room.

I’m hoping to find a roommate who is kind, emotionally mature, respectful of shared spaces, and open to creating a comfortable home environment together — hopefully even a new friendship along the way ✨
