Hello! My name is Devin, and I am working professional in the public sector. I’m a great roommate to live with because I’ve been raised to be very clean and neat, I treat others the way I would like to be treated, and I’m very good at keeping my business and finances in order. I value communication in all circumstances, and I am a champion for leading with empathy, compassion, and vulnerability.

I nearly always wake up at 8-9AM and get to bed at 9-10PM. An issue I’ve had with housemates is that they would be active overnight, cooking, and being noisy while I’m trying to sleep. Also, being a very clean person, another issue I’ve had with housemates is their inability to properly clean up after themselves in regard to shared spaces, such as the kitchen, and bathroom. They would leave their crumbs and spills on the kitchen counter and floors and let their hair accumulate on the bathroom floor. Requiring the higher standard of cleanliness, I’ve had to exercise the muscle of respectfully communicating my requests for better upkeep of these spaces.

At the end of the day, social harmony is paramount. It is important to feel safe and respected in a share living situation, so whether my needs are met or not, I try to maintain connection with my housemates with this focus in mind. 💞✨
