Description

I’m Aishwarya. My friends would describe me as easy-going, independent, analytical, and amicable.

I am an incoming grad student at Berkeley Law, and I work a pretty hectic schedule, especially during the week when I am occupied attending law school. On the weekends, the schedule is more or less the same.

‍I’m a pretty social person, but I also need my alone time. I’m open to the idea of my roommates hosting small parties - I would just like to know about these ahead of time. I’m down to get to know each other; I’m not saying we have to be best friends, but I would like to do things like occasionally hang out, and host cook outs for friends. I am open to the idea of sharing a meal together once in a while.

I like to keep common living spaces pretty clean. I do my dishes every day and put away my belongings when I get home from work. I’m open to the idea of a cleaning schedule to keep things organized.

My monthly budget is $1000, and I’m looking to move in sometime during July. I’m hoping to find a house UC Berkeley, or neighbourhoods around. I would like my own private bedroom, with a private or shared bathroom, and I’m open to living with 1-3 other people. If the bedrooms are sized differently enough to justify different prices, I’m happy staying in the larger or the smaller room.

I’m sometimes disturbed and overwhelmed by loud noises. So, if you’re someone that needs to have the volume on the TV up to the maximum, we might not be the best fit. I’m not a smoker. I’d preferably like to have roommates who themselves are grad students, and understand the demands and hectic schedule of a fellow grad student or a working professional. With that said, I am open to anyone else too, l to as long as they respect everyone’s space and share a mutual understanding of privacy and space.
