I am a quiet but friendly introvert that works from home. I have been living and renting in Oak Park for five years but am trying to cut down on my living expenses so I can save for a down payment on a home.

I have been an illustrator for over ten years and spend most of my time at home drawing. I am a morning person and usually start working around 7am. I like things to be tidy and have a minimalist aesthetic, so I don’t require much living space as long as I have access to some storage elsewhere in the building. My primary need is for a quiet place where I can work and focus without much interruption throughout the day.

My partner and her daughter also live in Oak Park in their own apartment, so I am frequently over at their place for the night. On night’s when I am home by myself and not working, I am pretty low-key and enjoy reading, crafting cocktails, taking long walks, and occasionally watching movies. As such, I am essentially looking for a room I can use as my drawing studio and in which I also have enough space for a twin bed.

My current lease is up at the end of October, but I am starting my search early in order to hopefully find a good fit.
