I am a roller skater by hobby and profession, work on-and-off in accounting (mostly in hotels), and am often jumping on short-term side-gigs. I am a pianist, a lover of the color green–which is part of why I’m back in Seattle!), and an animal lover. I’ve been back here for about 5 years now but I recently ended a relationship and am looking for something affordable that is within walking distance to my main gig in White Center.

I have 2 adolescent children who currently live out of state. They may come to visit a few times a year, but I typically travel to them as it is easier for them to navigate and I am also pretty selective about who they are introduced to. That said, I am on Zoom and playing online games with them fairly often in the evening and need a reasonably quiet environment for that.

I get along well with most people and am generally pretty easy to live with if you don’t mind me getting home late (I will be very quiet whether you need me to or not). As a roommate I am very low maintenance, I’m pretty adamant about leaving a space as I found it and putting everything back in it’s place. If I use a dish, I wash it when I’m done with it, I don’t leave stuff lying around everywhere. This is partially a roommate courtesy but also just part of keeping my ADHD brain in check so I can find my wallet/keys.

I don’t party much, but I don’t mind my roommates doing their thing as long as it isn’t crazy loud parties all the time. I am 420 friendly and drink occasionally but am not a fan of getting super drunk or babysitting others who are (I do that enough at work).

I wouldn’t mind having a roommate situation where we hang out some, but I’m also fine with a situation where we just do our own thing. The latter is pretty likely as I will be working increasing hours in the coming months and am also working on training to renew my coaching certifications.

I will be up front in saying that I was out of work due to medical issues for about 2 years and consequently do not have the best credit (it’s not terrible either). I’m more or less in the process of building my life back up but have solid employment and can provide references as needed.

I’m not the best at describing myself in these profiles, but I’m a pretty open person, so don’t hesitate to ask if you have any concerns or curiosities.
