Description

I’m a graduating college student with 5 years of experience living on my own in various apartments with roommates. I don’t drink, smoke, or do any kind of partying. I have absolutely nothing against people who do, it’s just not my preference.

I work in tech and will be mostly in my room working on portfolio pieces while searching for a job in the video games industry. In the meantime I will get a side job for rent and will likely be gone working a lot. I enjoy cooking and I don’t leave the kitchen dirty after. I’m extremely amicable and can adapt to any living situation. I’m not picky and I’m not the type of roommate that would make ridiculous demands. All I really do is work, cook, watch shows, and hang out with my animals. The poster child of an average person.

I’m trying to find a place to stay that can allow my caged animals to be with me in my room. I have two pet rats that are the sweetest boys and a young corn snake. They will never leave my room if preferred and it will be like they aren’t even there. I am aware my pets have an undeserved stigma. Domesticated pet rats are not wild rats. They are not the same kind of rat. It would be like saying a dog is the same as a wolf. They do not pose dangers like people seem to think. I wish I could post pictures on here to prove they’re just chunky little teddy bears. As for my snake, he is a pencil with a face. He is not some massive python, he’s the width of your finger and all he does is chill in his tank. I can make adjustments so you will never have to see his food in your fridge as well. I would be more than happy to answer any questions on this matter :)

This would be a (hopefully) short term arrangement of under 12 months. The end goal is to gather up savings and move into an apartment with my boyfriend. I’m not opposed to a 1 year lease, however.
