I teamed up with Emilee on here and we’re looking for a 3rd or 4th roommate to ideally get a house by early June because rent is yikes.

Hey hi, I’m a big science/nature/environment nerd, LGBTQIA+ friendly, progressive, artsy, love dogs. People think I’m funny I guess. I can paint and do my own thing but I’m not a gamer or homebody in any sense. I’m pretty social and love having things to do, which sometimes manifests as cleaning the entire house. I’m almost always down to hang out and meet people or go on outdoorsy adventures, especially in the summer. Love hiking, kayaking, camping, swimming, roller skating, roller coasters, watercolors, playing with dogs at the dog park, and going to the renn faire, bar crawls, clubs, raves, nerd conventions, and music festivals. I’m 420 friendly but have baby lungs so I vape or eat it, though I’d rather drink socially, but no cigs or incense users or you can watch my asthma kick my ass in real time.

Definitely looking for more than one roommate, ideally women or (preferably LGBT+) men my age, who like going out or having people over sometimes, and would rather be friends than live with someone you never see and have a cold, transactional relationship. They should be cool with couples too - my bf gets off work around the time I wake up, and we’ve gotten in the habit of hanging out a few times a week before he has to leave around 7.

Great at cleaning but less at cooking. I have a crested gecko and a ball python, an unfortunate cat allergy (I might be able to tolerate one if the litterbox is away and the place is clean), mad climate anxiety, and literally no straight friends. My night shift job in Oak Brook pays well but is killing me probably, and I need to move to a quieter neighborhood so I can actually stay asleep during the day, ideally one with forest preserves so I can hike til my feet fall off.
