Faith

My personality can be described as outgoing, talkative, friendly, with a silly sense of humor. I’m a bit of an actress at times. Which is good because deep down I’m a timid soul, shy and admittedly a bit insecure. I like to help out where I can. I am creative as well. I enjoy drawing, sewing, knitting, and am trying to learn to play a guitar.

My Disability: I have a right shoulder and elbow deformation with Scoliosis. This gives me daily pain but i’ve gotten good at managing it. The pain does cause forgetfulness at times. I use an app on my phone to send me audible alerts throughout the day.

Religion: I am a member of the Restored Church of God. We believe in following Jesus by only what can be found in the Bible. This means I don’t celebrate things like Christmas, Easter, Valentines Day, or Birthdays. There are a few more on the list but I’m easy going if you celebrate these as long as its alright with you that I don’t participate.

Holidays: I enjoy Mothers Day, Father’s Day, Independence Day, and Thanksgiving Day. I also leave town for a week during the Feast of Tabernacles in the fall.

Entertainment: I prefer clean movies; Comedies, Documentaries, and nature movies.

Sleeping habits: I prefer to sleep from 10:30pm to 7am. I usually am a light sleeper, so I prefer a noiseless environment as apposed to having background noises like TVs or spinning fans. But I have earplugs for hot summer when the fan is not avoidable.

Friends: most of my friends are online. They do visit on occasion but we are a respectable lot. We tend to be talkers and board game types. As for a friendship between me and my roommate, I can be shy about this. I would want our friendship to be more of a friendly cohabitation based on understanding one another’s needs and having a reasonable level of mutual respect. Any closer friendship should be allowed to happen naturally.

Sexuality: I’m a straight single woman. I’m picky about whom I date. Though I don’t judge people’s choices, for cultural compatibility, I prefer to roommate with other heterosexuals.

Free Time: I read my Bible and watch sermons online, or play a video game or have a live chat with friends around the world. I can use ear buds when its needed. I can get crafty as well; painting, sewing, or knitting. I might practice with a small acoustic guitar on occasion.

Work: I might record audio books out of a closet. I’ve been researching this and it might be an option for me to earn a little extra money.

On Cleanliness: It is important to me. I like to be organized and have a nice smelling home. Things should always return to where they belong. That said, I do tend to let dishes and laundry pile up for a day or two and wash them together. If i have a dishwasher, I prefer to use it by rinsing dishes as i use them and start the washer once it is reasonably full.
