Description

Hello!

My name is John, I am 29 years old, and I will be moving to San Francisco either at the end of August or beginning of September. I am an Athletic Trainer and just recently accepted a position with the University of San Francisco to work with their baseball team. As an athletic trainer with a D1 sports team I will be putting in a lot hours at work and will travel with the team frequently so you two would have the flat to yourselves quite often! I am very responsible for cleaning up after myself and respectful of others space and belongings. I am very easy to communicate with as a roommate and take constructive criticism very well so you will never have to hesitate to tell me if I’m doing something as a roommate that rubs you the wrong way or is not conducive to the household dynamic.

One attribute that sets me apart from the crowd is my upbeat and social nature. I feel and exhibit a genuine fondness for all types of people. I realize that each individual’s interests, background, motivations, desires, and work style are different and I strive to honor everyone’s unique qualities and preferences. When things get tough and people around me are frustrated, overwhelmed, angry, or disappointed I tend to automatically use quick wit and humor to lighten the mood and help them to laugh and keep their head up when they might want to quit. I am quick to start conversations with outsiders; including them into the group and helping them feel at ease. By nature this makes it easy for me to relate and communicate to people from all backgrounds and personalities. I have often been described as a social butterfly :)

Also it is important to mention that I do have a dog. His name is Leon and he the most cuddly, affectionate sweetheart you could care to meet. He looks tough but I promise you he is a big softy :D He is very chill and very low maintenance. House trained and super social with people, dogs, babies, you name it. I’m not sure if it will load for you but I tried attaching a video of him doing his best trick of getting me a beer out of the fridge! Needless to say he is very smart and very trainable. I have an Emotional Support Animal Letter to have him in any housing situation so it will not be a problem legally with the landlord.

I have attached a few pictures of the two of us and I very much look forward to talking to you, learning more about you, and answering any questions you might have.

Thank you,

John Badagliacco MS, ATC Athletic Trainer
