Hello. Current Florida resident and Texas native searching for a private room to rent next year when my current apartment lease is over. I’m looking for something less expensive than what I currently pay ($1500 monthly) for 1b 1ba apartment, I’m looking to pay about half for a room.

A little about me: I have a clean background, no crime, good rental history, good credit. I am a Navy veteran, a recent graduate (bachelors degree), and I own a vehicle. Somewhat of an introvert/loner, but I can be outgoing and social. I like trying and learning new things. I chose roomies to find a temporary place to live as I continue my search for the right city/state to call home! A typical day for me would be browsing the web, online gaming, and the gym. I don’t plan to have any visitors and will notify in advance if I ever do. My main priorities to have in the home are reliable internet, safe parking, and my own locks for my bedroom door if possible.
