Hello. I am relocating from NJ to Springfield, IL to start a job with the Illinois state government. I’m trying to make the move by August 1st but I will likely end up pushing it out to around August 13th or 14th. I am male, 30 years old, and work as a data scientist. I do not drink or smoke, and I am pretty quiet/introverted. I am on Roomies because I am looking to achieve one of the following two things:
- find somebody to “team up” with and we will together start a new lease on a 2 or 3 bedroom apartment
- find a room to stay in for the first few months of my new job; once I’m settled into the new job, I probably will move out and get my own place
