I no longer work and am a homebody when I have a home. I am currently homeless and not in good health but I don’t qualify for long-term care insurance to live in a nursing home. I am looking for a stable place to live until a subsidized apartment or Section 8 becomes available. I am not bed bound. I am somewhat independent and can walk and often I use a walker or wheelchair as needed. However, I can not climb stairs or over a bathtub. I require off-street parking, no stairs outside to get into the home or inside the home or to and from the bathroom and laundry room, a private bathroom that has safety grab bars on the wall in a walk-in shower (no bathtubs) and grab bars near the toilet, a shower that is is large enough for a freestanding shower chair. I prefer to be around adults that are open minded, responsible, are knowledgeable, keep a clean home and are patient, compassionate and understanding. Please no drug addicts, alcoholics, mentally unstable people, no children and no pets. I am moderately social and will have a home health aide or certified nurses aide come over and do some cleaning several times per week and assist me with daily tasks . I can not afford more than $700.00 per month with utilities and internet included. I would like roommates I can be social friends with too. I personally won’t use a stove or oven.
