I am a single, employed 56-year-old professional male seeking a room to rent for myself.

What I am seeking:

A quiet living environment: I am looking for a peaceful residence and neighborhood that is generally free from excessive noise, including loud people, parties, music, construction, and heavy street traffic, especially at night. One of the main reasons I am seeking a new place to live is that my current residence is very noisy and has negatively affected the quality of my sleep.

Required amenities: Shared access to a kitchen and laundry facilities, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, parking, and utilities included in the rent.

Compatible household environment: I value living with respectful, responsible, and considerate people who appreciate a clean, cooperative, and drama-free home. I consider myself warm, friendly, quiet, and private. Personality-wise, I would describe myself as about 30% extroverted and 70% introverted. I prefer a simple lifestyle and do not party, smoke, use drugs, or have a drinking problem.

I very rarely have visitors, and when I do, visits are brief. I do not have overnight guests. When at home, I typically cook, eat, sleep, shower, read, watch TV, and do laundry. I spend much of my time working, visiting friends or family, running errands, or relaxing quietly in my room.

I have a clean background and can verify my identity, employment, income, and credit. I have no criminal record, a positive rental history, and can provide references from previous landlords.

I am currently employed full-time and work Monday through Friday, generally between 5:00 AM and 3:00 PM. My typical sleep schedule is from about 7:00 PM to 3:00 AM.
