Hello future roommate! My name is Diana, and I am a young female looking for a house with fun and considerate roommates in Livermore. I’ve lived in Northern California my entire life and am currently working in Livermore. My friends would describe me as easy-going, sarcastic, friendly, and independent. I am looking for roommates that are friendly, clean, and occasionally open to doing activities together.

I work at a local non-profit with a normal 9-6 schedule. Right now, I am working from home and will be for the duration of 2021. I am quiet and considerate of others working during the same time. I am covid-conscious and would appreciate roommates that have the same ideals (wearing masks out, limiting guests, etc.). During the week, I am usually in bed by 11 pm and up by 8 am. On the weekends, I am asleep by 12 am and up around 9 am.

I’m a pretty social person, but I also need my alone time. I am down to get to know each other and occasionally watch TV and cook together. In normal times, I want my house to be a place where I can have people over, but not a place that’s constantly full of people. I’m open to the idea of my roommates hosting small parties - I would just like to know about these ahead of time.

In my free time, I like to spend my time outside, bake bread, and watch TV. On the weekends, I like to hike, go wine-tasting and try new foods. I like to travel throughout the year, for weekends or weeklong periods.

I like to keep common living spaces pretty clean. I do my dishes every day and put away my belongings at the end of the day. I’m open to the idea of a cleaning schedule to keep things organized.

My monthly rent budget is $1,100, and I’m looking to move in sometime during April/May. I am flexible. I’m hoping to find a house near Downtown Livermore. I would like my own bedroom, and I’m open to sharing a bathroom. Ideally, the house would have a yard or at least a porch.

Other relevant information: I have a partner that lives in SoCal and will come up occasionally. I will be happy to cover any additional costs/utilities during this time. We are not loud and will probably be out of the house most of the time. I have a car that I would appreciate a spot for, inside or outside is fine. I’m not a smoker and I don’t want to live with smokers unless it is weed. I am a pretty low-waste individual and appreciate those who are also considerate of their trash and food waste.
