I keep a vegan/vegetarian diet, but a roommate wouldn't necessarily have to, just be respectful please :)

i! I have two bedrooms that will be available by February 17, 2019. I'm open to both male/female, as long as you're clean and curtious. The apartment in a gorgeous gut rehab in Ukrainian village. We have a private balcony, dishwasher, in unit washer/dryer, huge windows, hardwood floors, central heat/AC, secure building. Both available bedrooms are big enough for queen beds, dresser, side table, etc. I have a sectional couch and coffee table in the living room, so I'm open to whatever other furniture you may have. About me: I'm a quiet 26yo/female with steady job. I work in the fitness industry so my hours are usually in the evening, so I would prefer two people who have a regular 9-5 so we aren't in each other's space. I like the common areas to be clean/clutter free, but I won't send a passive aggressive text if you leave your cereal bowl in the sink for a day. During the week I'm really quiet, maybe meet someone for dinner but that's about it. I also love to bake (and share with my roommates). :) On the weekends I sometimes go out, but never bring home any random party people. I would prefer roommates who had the same mindset. I'm past my party days and don't feel like worrying about a bunch of random drunk people from a bar in my apartment. I also have a small cat. She's really sweet, and I make it a point to keep her areas very clean. She's also fluffy so I get her shaved into a lion twice a year to minimize shedding. I would prefer her to be the only pet in the house. Rent/utilities: Rent is about $700 per person, plus utilities. Utilities usually cost approximately $100 per person depending on the season. (Gas, electric, internet, renters insurance). There's a $50 application fee to apply. The building is owned by Local by Laramar and they are seriously awesome. They respond to maintenance requests same day/very nice people. I really want to stay in this apartment, because it's so amazing!! If you have any questions or want to come see the place, reply to the ad. Thanks!!

My roommate is moving downtown at the end of January, so I'm looking for someone to take over his half of the lease. Total rent is $1425, so your half would be $712.50, plus electric and internet. The apartment is really nice. It's located near Lawrence/Western, a few blocks from the Rockwell Brown line stop. I work full time nearby and keep mostly to myself while I'm home. I'm really just looking for a normal person I can trust not to murder me or anybody else, and pay bills on time. Hello! I am looking to rent the third bedroom in my 3br 1Ba apartment straddling Logan Square and Avondale. The room itself is medium sized, but the apartment itself is spacious with a super decked out kitchen, two living rooms, and front/back porches and yards with gardens in each. Total rent is $1760, so a third of that makes each tenant responsible for $586 in monthly rent. Utilities are gas, electric, and internet, and total about $60-80 a month on top of that per person. We split utilities three ways and right now share the burden of communal items like toilet paper and cleaning products, and if possible want to keep that arrangement going. Laundry is in building, downstairs, and is $1 per load. I have one very chill and affectionate cat; she LOVES humans, can get used to dogs rafter a while, and unfortunately hates other cats. The landlord is super attentive and responsible, and I've been here four years because he's been on top of any problems I've brought to his attention right away. Actual walk time to belmont blue line is 7 minutes, walking to Logan Square blue line is 8. 40 minute bike ride to the Loop. Street permit parking is available on the block and nearby, and downstairs tenants are moving out so a parking spot in back of the apartment is becoming available. We try to keep communal spaces tidy and organized; we aren't total neat freaks, but try to keep the space comfortable and functional and want our third roommate to be willing to pitch in with shared chores. We would prefer to live with someone who is comfortable with direct communication and giving/receiving feedback to maintain a harmonious living environment; everyone has different living styles, but communication is important so everyone can be comfortable and happy. Please email me if interested; I would like to meet potential roommates in a public place like a coffee shop before showing the apartment (this is the internet). Communal areas are furnished (couches, tables, chairs) and the kitchen is about as equipped as a kitchen ever reasonably should be, so I reccomend just coming with furniture for your bedroom. The room can fit a queen bed, small dresser, and side table, and has a medium sized closet. There is some communal storage space available as well if you don't want to put extra smaller stuff in storage. I cook for a living and so come home very late (2-4 AM). I try to be quiet coming home, but light sleepers beware, the floorboards do make noise and that is the only noise I can't really reduce when entering the house. If you're a heavy or moderate sleeper you definitely won't notice. We aren't big party animals, but have friends over occasionally for dinner and keep it to a reasonable volume/timeframe and always ask first. 420 friendly indoors, smoking cigarettes is okay outside the house (there is an ashtray on the back porch), but please, no hard drugs. I am in my late 20's, and I am a female chef. My one current roommate is in his mid-20's, works at the U of C, and enjoys playing music, and is also an avid cook. The room is available November 26; my roommate is moving to Europe on that day for his job. If you are interested in a lease, the one prerequisite is just that you fill out an application with the landlord and consent to a credit check. If you would prefer to sublease, I personally just ask that you demonstrate with pay stubs or references that you are reliably able to pay rent on time. BONUS, the upstairs neighbors and I maintain a full-swing vegetable garden, so there are abundant peppers, tomatoes, and eggplants for grabs if you decide to live here. Even if you aren't a veggie person, there are a lot of plants and flowers around, so it is a very nice yard to hang out in with a fire pit and a BBQ.
Hey, I'm a surgical resident at Mount Sinai and my roommate just moved for a new job. I'm looking for someone to share my 3 Bedroom apartment across from Douglas Park. Walking distance to Mount Sinai, Schwab Rehab Hospital, and St. Anthony's. Lagunitas just a couple blocks out the back door! It would be an easy commute or bike-ride to UIC/Stroger/Rush as well! The apartment is recently redone, and there is laundry in the building. Either of two rooms are available, your choice. The other room I would plan to leave open for guests, etc. I have a cat, Athena. She's very nice, and will probably leave you alone - she's scared of everything. I'm pretty laid back and flexible. I work plenty of weekends/nights, so I like to plan ahead if there's going to be people over. Let me know if you're interested!
I'm a 39-year-old female professional independent business management consultant who works from home occasionally. I also have a part-time job and I am involved in different community service projects throughout Chicago. I'm a laid-back person who sleeps in when I have time and go out every now and then. Rent is $860 each month with utilities included (High speed Internet and Xfinity cable is free). Granite kitchen with 42" cabinets , and center heat & air conditioning. Comes with blender, dishes, silverware, cooking utensils, etc. The apartments are near Brickyard on the Northwest side of City. The room has two closets and can fit a queen size bed, nightstand, and dresser. You have a full private bathroom. Free street parking with no permit requirement. In-unit laundry and outside bike rack. Grocery store, Starbucks, Xsport Fitness, and other retailers are down the street in the Brickyard Plaza. Bus stop on corner of street with a straight shot downtown and Metra and L-trains are not far. This is a smoke free building however smoking is allowed outside. Sorry, no pets.
