Private room on lower level with large closet and private bathroom in a new two-story custom home in Cardiff. Large deck; small yard and patio; yoga / workout room. Very private location, walking distance to the beach and Cardiff market and shops.

I am offering a substantial rent reduction in exchange for assistance including “house sitting” and dog sitting; daily dog walks; grocery and home goods shopping; assisting with preparing healthy meals occasionally; general cleaning (I do have a housekeeper every two weeks as well so this will be light cleaning); and laundry. If you are a wellness professional further rent reduction is possible for services if that’s your profession (massage, acupuncture, etc).

I travel frequently and having someone to watch the house, the dog and feed the fish is a huge benefit for me.

If I were charging market rate for the rent it would be considerably higher. There will be no extra charge for utilities or services (internet and Direct TV).

I work from home most days. I️ have a quiet and calm personality. I am very active when it comes to fitness and spend a lot of time at the gym or other fitness related actociries.

I have found that I get along well with free spirited individuals - artists, athletes, yogis or wellness practitioners welcome! This by no means is necessary, just a generalization.

While I prefer a long-term roommate, I’m offering a month to month arrangement to start to make sure it’s a good fit.

The room has an existing bed with a very nice mattress. There is not room for any large pieces of furniture.

I will be very selective and I am more interested in the right fit and help with the house and the pets then the “rent”.
