You get a bedroom and a beautifully bright, large 4 season porch to use as a living space. Bathroom, kitchen and laundry are shared.

The house is cute and has great character and energy, in the Lincoln park neighborhood. There is a decent sized yard for lounging and an off street parking spot too. I’m asking $725/month and this includes utilities and internet. This is my peaceful space, so if you like to be loud, party, have people over often, etc.— this is not a place for you.

There is no central AC in my house. The main floor where your extra living space is stays comfortable temps most of the summer, in my opinion. You may bring a window AC unit for your spaces, but I ask that they are used only when you’re using those rooms, in effort to conserve energy and be good stewards of the environment.

My 2 dogs and I live here. I am mid 30’s professional female. I work mostly from home. I am generally quiet and friendly. I love nature, being active. I spend a lot of time at home meditating, journaling, reading, playing with my dogs and watching birds in my yard.

My dogs are suspicious of new people and will take a while to warm up to you- but they will. This is their house too so it is important that you like dogs.

Cleaning up after ourselves in shared spaces is an important part of being a respectful roommate to me.
