About the room

Hey there! I’ve lived in this complex for 3 years now and I absolutely love it! My apartment is on the top floor (7th, with an elevator) with a giant balcony (one of the biggest I’ve seen for any apartments) and GORGEOUS mountain view. In fact, there is a mountain view from the bedroom window as well. The location is perfect - close to downtown, not far from literally anything - which is fantastic with Denver traffic. Move in date is available immediately, but can be semi flexible. Hoping to have someone in during February, but could hold off as late as March 1st. This place has every amenity you could possibly imagine: gym, yoga/dance studio, spin studio, indoor basketball court (supplied with basketballs!), indoor racquetball court, sauna/steam room, a movie theater, a business center, two outdoor pools and a hot tub (only open during summertime), a tennis court, an outdoor basketball court, beautiful tranquil grounds with lakes and underground parking for an additional fee. The apartment is very spacious at 1370 sq. ft, so lots of space for activities. The apartment is mostly furnished, however I am not opposed to working with additional furniture. There is a cozy wood-burning fireplace, large kitchen space, large living room space, large hallway closet, large dining room space and a decently sized pantry. There is also a washer & dryer in unit!! The kitchen comes with all the works - flat top stove, microwave, oven, a nice refrigerator with ice maker and water dispenser, garbage disposal and also a dishwasher. I have just about every dish and cooking utensil you could ever need. The balcony is also quite large (8x11, I believe) and is currently furnished with anti gravity chairs over looking the perfect mountain view. The floors are all grey laminate in the common areas and restrooms and the bedrooms are newly carpeted from when I moved in in August. There’s also central air and heat which is a biggie here in Denver! I’ve also got a really nice brand new smart TV in the living room for communal use. Security here is great - you need a fob to enter the building and a code will be provided for you for guests to enter by calling your phone and you letting them in. There is parking (and yay! It’s an actual parking lot!) and I believe that costs $30/year for the permit. However, underground garage parking is also available if you so choose for $75/month. There’s also night time patrols as well. Your room is down the hallway and is 11x14 with a full length window. The room is currently furnished with a queen-size cooling gel memory foam mattress with bed frame, a tv stand, a tall large dresser and a smaller bed side dresser. I do have a storage unit, so if you would like to furnish your bedroom yourself you are more than welcome to do so. Your private full-size bathroom is right across the hall complete with a standing shower, vanity area, medicine cabinet and of course, a toilet. Full disclosure: my bedroom is the master and is larger with a larger closet too, so the rent is divided by square footage and therefore I pay more towards the rent. As far as bills go - the complex bills us straight through their utility company “Conservice”. These charges include water, trash, sewage, pest control, gas, and community power, etc. Those charges average around $45/month per person +/-. Besides that, we are only responsible for two other bills - power and internet. Internet is $35/month per person. Power varies between $30-$40/month total, dependent on the month. I will say, being on the top floor with lots of natural sunlight and heat rising from other apartments - I hardly ever have to turn on the heat. There’s lots of art around and I’ve been told this place has a “very cozy vibe.” Message me if you have any questions and come check it out for yourself!

My name is Ashley and I am the only other person living in the unit. Originally from Florida, I’ve been in Denver for 3 years now and absolutely love it. I’m 28 and am currently in an intensive schooling training program for the next 12 weeks, after which I will be placed in a pretty intensive sales position. So my school schedule will be Mon-Fri 7am - 4pm with extra time to study. I’m very chill and laid-back, I mostly like to spend (especially the week nights) just hanging out by the fire, reading, watching a movie, watching the sunset or hitting the gym or yoga classes. Sometimes I do host the occasional get together or family dinner. Nothing crazy. On the weekends I enjoy going to live music, dancing, skiing, hiking and general adventuring. In particular, some of my favorite bands include STS9, Lotus, String Cheese Incident, Emancipator, Bonobo and many more. Brownie points if you’re into those kinds of music too! However, no discrimination if those aren’t your jam either. :) I don’t smoke cigarettes and I’d really love it if you didn’t either…otherwise you will have to go out the front door to smoke because I have had too many bad experiences with people burning holes on my previous apartment balcony. I am however an occasional marijuana smoker and I like to enjoy a glass of wine or two every now and then. If marijuana bothers you, I don’t mind going outside to smoke. I do currently have a (very) small dog - Lola, 16 years of age and she the friendliest little chihuahua you will ever meet. Sadly, with her age however, I’m honestly not so sure how much longer she will be around. I also have two cats - Mr. Krinkles and Edgar. Edgar is super shy and lives to hide in mama’s room (lol) but he’s still super sweet. But Krinkles…you will fall in love with each other instantly (and no, you can’t have him! haha jk) I also have a robotic vacuum cleaner that I run every day because I have horrible allergies. I take pride in my space and keep the place very clean. The current lease goes until 9/15/20 but there is an option to renew. You must also pay a $50 application fee to the front office.
