I have a small furnished or unfurnished bedroom (12’ X 12’ or 144 sq. ft.) in a two-bedroom apartment, available February 1st, or sooner. As we are all too aware, the cost of living in the Bay Area is outrageously expensive and so I have had to make concessions. I rent both bedrooms, while I live in the living room; this makes for tight living arrangements but it allows me to stay in the Bay Area. As the kitchen is basically in my bedroom, right next to the living room, I do request that kitchen use is limited to the hours between 9:00 am to 8:00 pm, I am open to discussing the occasional adjustment to the hours. Utilities are separate but are a set rate of $120 per month: this also includes internet and most of the basic household necessities such as cleaning supplies etc.

I am a 52-year-old carpenter and part-time public speaker. I don’t smoke, but I do drink socially. I travel on and off for my work. I tend to be quiet and keep to myself.
