Bars, coffee shops, venues, and restaurants a 2-3 blocks away (Globe Hall, Forte Greene, Prodigy). Great view of the mountains/city from the back porch, and 2min drive/5-minute bike to light rail.
Rooms and Rent: Easternmost - ~7x11’ (fairly small), not including closet. Two windows (S/SE facing) - $650
Center - ~7x13’, not including closet. Has storage shelf and two windows (S facing) - $700
If you wanted both rooms on a single lease, or for a couple, we would only charge $1250 if you wanted to rent both. Laundry: In-unit on the lower level, shared between upstairs and downstairs Bathroom: Shared between three rooms (bathroom upstairs is not shared) Pets: Dogs OK, but Beni the small dog pictured gets really curious about cats so they are only OK if they would stay in your room full time! Yard: Medium-sized, front and backyard. Front porch and garden plus deck with great view in back and a fire pit. Storage: Fair amount of storage available in the basement. There is currently a tiny house in the backyard that could be used for storage or even a practice space etc.
About our living situation:
Hello! We have two rooms available for one or two kind, emotionally intelligent individuals. This is an LGBTQ+ friendly space, absolutely no bigotry is tolerated in our home. Currently one female (early 30s) living here. One male lives in a separate unit with private entrance & his own bath/kitchen, shared laundry. You would live downstairs with one female and her small dog Beni.
One female and one male in their mid-thirties, plus a small dog. Male works in construction, loves music, female teaches but loves going out for drinks. We as a cooperative have a meeting once a month where we can discuss anything with the house and make amendments to the lease and the cooperative agreement- this just allows us to create rules that actually hold us accountable!
