This is an old home with updated appliances in the heart of downtown Tempe. The house is on grassy property with citrus trees in a quaint neighborhood in downtown Tempe and close to the downtown Tempe city vibe. Whole Foods is a quick 5 minute walk. Close to all major transportation including the airport and right by Tempe Town Lake. An ideal location for someone who wants to be close to everything Tempe has to offer. Looking for a roommate to do a lease takeover starting June 1, 2026 and the new lease (for the following year) begins August 1, 2026. That date may change to June 15 or as late as July 31). It’s a small, cute and quaint home you would be sharing with one other professional female (age 32 year old Teacher). You will need to show proof of having a professional and steady line of work to our landlord. Bedroom is small but you do have your own bathroom (though it’s in the common area) it’s yours by default since the other roomate has her own bathroom. There is a third bedroom you could pay more rent for and use as an office or still split the rent with roommate and both decide what to do with 3rd room. But no more than two people live here bc the house is just too small. Laundry room is attached to house.

She is a teacher and very busy with her school position during the week. She loves animals and socializing with her friends (mainly outside of the home). The way the home is set up, communication is really important with having guests (your bedroom (which was my bedroom) would be right off the kitchen so she is very mindful of that with me) but we always made it work.
