I am a staff member at UCSF. I’m 35 years old, and I’m usually busy on weekdays working and then reading at night/watching Netflix/HBO Now/Amazon Prime. I have a car, but I equally drive it, ride my bike, BART or bus or use good ol’ bipedalism. On weekends, I hang out with my friends or volunteer at Oakland Animal Services. That brings me to my roommate, an 11-pound Pomeranian mix named Toby – please see photo above. He is really sweet and gets along with all people and dogs. I’ve lived in the Bay Area for over four years now and have had a lot of roommates and have learned that communication and consideration are key.
