About the room
Renting an 11 ft. x 12 ft. private downstairs bedroom, with own private bathroom/shower, in a large 4 bedroom house located in the Calavera Hills area of Carlsbad. This is the only room on the main floor and feels very private.
You will have full usage of the kitchen, family-room, living-room, dining room available to you. There is also a laundry room conveniently located on the 2nd floor as well as a large back yard and patio area to enjoy. All utilities are included in the rent, IE. gas, electric, water, trash & internet.
We live in a very safe and quiet, upscale neighborhood within walking distance to Calavera Hills Lake. Driveway parking is available, as well as street parking next to a lit pocket park located on one side of the house. There are many hiking and biking trails, parks, schools, shopping centers, restaurants, the 78 and the 5 freeways, and beaches all within close proximity.
We are hoping for a friendly, mature female roommate who will want to stay settled for a while, at least 6 months or longer. However, only a 30 day lease, requiring a 30 day written notice and $975 security deposit is required. References and a background checks are requested. About the roomies
We are three considerate, honest, kind, clean and tidy women (ages 23 - 48 years old). We all have full time jobs, on different work schedules during the day, and each spend much of our personal time in the evenings relaxing in our own rooms.
You are welcome to cook meals, watch television, listen to music and enjoy the fireplace in the family and living rooms at your leisure, however, we do request consideration of noise in the evening during the work week. Privacy and cleanliness is very important to each of us as we like to maintain a peaceful and pleasant living environment. Occasional overnight guests and visitors are welcome, we are all mature adults and have a right to make our own choices.
We also have a very sweet, older male, American Eskimo watch dog that resides with us, so liking animals is important. We would consider welcoming a second dog if you have one, depending on their size and breed. Please ask if you have any other questions.
