This private room has a queen size waterbed, reach-in closet, small study desk, relaxing plush chair, and a private attached bathroom. This room is in a spacious, shared apartment, with a kitchen, laundry room, living room, patio and backyard with gazebo. Up to 4 other housemates maybe present, including the owner/manager. Sorry, no guests or overnight visitors allowed. The rental rate is intended for one sole occupant (no couples). And no pets allowed, not even support animals (owner has allergies). Smoking OK outside. Free parking. Storage for food provided (fridge, cupboard) and cookware including pots/pans provided.

There is a one-time partially refundable security deposit of $500 required. We will deduct for cleaning fees, damages, and/or missing items. We will do a video inspection before you move in and after you move out to establish any claims. If there are any things such as artwork, decorations or small furniture items you don’t want in the room you’re renting, please ask so we can remove it for you. If you want to remove the waterbed and have a regular mattress, the owner will do this for you, one-time, at no additional cost.

The owner is very low-key and easy-going, and likes to keep a clean house. Please remove shoes when entering. Clean up after yourself when done using the kitchen. There is a community corner with coffee and sometimes fruit or snacks, provided by the host. Quiet hours are from 10pm to 8am. The TV should not be used during quiet hours. The patio and gazebo is closed at 11pm. Very safe neighborhood, one block from the local park, which has a running track and exercise equipment.
