River's room

The room is 12.5x9.5 with a decent sized closet on the ground floor of a comfy and spacious two-story, two bathroom home. Room can be furnished or unfurnished. There is also plenty of workshop space available. Separate thermostat for your baseboard heat. Hardwood floors throughout the house. Gorgeous rolling nature views of a creek, hills, cornfields from the kitchen, dining room, and back deck! Over an acre of land to walk around on. Plenty of common social areas, a large kitchen and eat-in dining room table, a living room, and another social side-room all on the main floor. There’s a washer and dryer in the basement and the kitchen has a dishwasher, an electric stove, two ovens, and a microwave. If you’re weird about sharing food, there’s a whole fridge downstairs you can have to yourself! We are a short drive to Red Hook, Tivoli, and the Taconic, a 15 minute drive to Bard, and under 15 minutes to the nearest grocery store!

Unfortunately, one of us has some severe and crappy allergies (so, sorry, no cats). If you do too, this house would be amazing as it’s scent and perfume-free! We are seeking a low-key, considerate roommate for a flexible timeline (preferably at least until June but if our dynamic is good, longer could work)! Also, NO Trump supporters.

We are queer partners in their late 30’s, one a full-time winemaker, and the other is an artist that spends part time in the city, with an older Chihuahua mix. Our room is upstairs which would give you loves of privacy.
