Hi there! A private bedroom and full bathroom is available for rent in a single family house about 1.5 miles from NOVA Annandale. The room is located on the lower level (split foyer house - so ground level) and is large and carpeted, comfortably fitting a queen bed and accessories. There is a full bath across the hall that is completely private, and all yours. The bedroom is the only bedroom on that level. The laundry room is also on that level as well as an additional family room area where there is a couch and TV set up.

All common areas (kitchen, living room, backyard, etc.) are, of course, available to you. Rent includes ALL utilities, even internet.

There are 2 young kids in the house so you will be subject to a full background check. No smoking or drugs. No excessive drinking. US citizens only. No pets. 420 is an absolute NO and no drugs will be tolerated. I kindly ask that you do not have “guests” over unless it is a committed relationship you see going somewhere.

My name is Juliana and I’m a 30 year old mama of two (5 and 1). I am a working professional (federal gov.), very open minded and down to earth, accepting of all and very respectful. I work a lot, and try to go to bed relatively early. I love cooking and spend a lot of time with my kids. I am a true nerd at heart, currently working on my doctorate in my “free time” (ha!) and am currently binge-watching Sabrina on Netflix. I pick books and music over TV and video games. I take my kids to RenFest every year and my house is full of instruments (note: we will not play them when you are sleeping…we are actually very calm when home).

I’m hoping whoever moves in will be friendly, will feel welcome to eat dinner with us on occasion, and be comfortable with lazy weekend cartoon mornings and coffee. I am also very open to “geo-bachelors”, i.e. folks that are looking for a Monday-Friday place to sleep to be closer to work, for a discounted amount of rent.

We are kid-messy, but clean, if that makes sense. All the toys might not get put away each night, but the sink never has dirty dishes in it. Looking for someone that will be equally respectful of the space.
