34th Street

This is a furnished room in my large, coastal home in a quiet historic neighborhood just North of downtown West Palm Beach just off of Flagler Drive. There is a shared bathroom located just outside of room. There is a new smart Fire TV with Amazon Prime and Netflix. Wi-Fi is available and included as are utilities. The house has a pool and front and back screened porches for relaxing. Parking is on street. Nearby there is the up and coming Northwood Rd with restaurants, shops, bars and the post office. Our food shopping is done at Publix in Palm Beach as it’s just over the bridge from not far from this property. The house is full of character and I take pride in it and expect the renter to do the same. There is the use of the kitchen and a separate fridge available and most of the house is accessible. Also available is a washer and dryer. I don’t mind hanging out occasionally. I am average when it comes to cleaning and like a clean house but tend to have things laying around as I work at home and have my son’s stuff scattered about in certain spots. I’d want the renter to keep their own space clean and clean up immediately after cooking/using the kitchen.

I live with my laid back and personable 16 year old son and another female roommate who has her own room. I have another son who is in college in Orlando and he comes back to visit from time to time. I am self employed working from home selling high end European textiles for the home furnishings industry. My background is in interior design. I travel often which I love and I like meeting interesting people. I enjoy being sociable and go out sometimes but also like my private and quiet time. I don’t talk much in the morning as I’m more of a night owl. I binge on Netflix and spend evenings in my TV room. I also cook most nights for my son and myself. Occasionally my son has some friends over but they stay to themselves and are great boys. I would like a drama free roommate who is responsible, honest and has a steady job and respectful of my home.
